In Dnipro doctors helped delivering to the woman infected with COVID-19
Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional hospital after Mechnikov Sergey Ryzhenko informed thet up to September, 21 there are 54 patients hospitalized into the clinic with coronavirus.
According to Sergey Ryzhenko four pregnant women are hospitalized with COVID-19. Moreover medicals have helped delivering to a woman who is infected with coronavirus.
“On September, 18, she was brought to us right during childbirth. She had positive testing for COVID-19. Our medicals have done cesarean section. Fortunately the baby was born healthy ”, - he said.
Sergey Ryzhenko noticed that the level of morbidity with coronavirus grows in Dnipropetrovsk region.
“During weekends we’ve got 154 positive tests. And it is just a result of our lab. We should multiply this rate by four to get the real number of citizens infected ”, - he said.
Sergey Ryzhenko added that as of September 21, there are 52 patients with COVID-19 in the Mechnikov hospital, 8 people are in intensive care, three of them are in critical condition.
