The most powerful bio-TPP has started in Dnipro

The most powerful Thermal power plant which runs on biofuel was launched in Dnipro.

The station “Ajax-Dnipro" has power 16MW and  runs on sunflower husk. It is situated on the area of the plant produces sunflower oil.

“Steam boilers can operate on various types of biomass: in addition to husk and pellets from sunflower husks, you can use wood chips and waste from growing, transportation and processing of sunflower”, - Ukrainian Bioenergetic Association informs.

New station has efficiency in 90% was built in two years. Nowadays it is the single one in Ukraine with such capacity of power.
